The Story
Several years ago, The NO Project was invited to present their multi-media seminar on human trafficking and modern slavery to high school students. In the audience that day was a 16-year-old learning about the crime of Trafficking in Persons for the very first time. The student's personal response to the crime was to create the spoken word poem It's Just Business.
Years later, with the poet's kind permission It's Just Business is now a short film.
So many people across the planet have contributed, directly or indirectly to this film production. It has been a privilege to work with everyone, and we thank them for their professional expertise, time and compassion. Annie was part of the Oscar-wining team for Film Editing of Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003). Her background spans a career of nearly 50 years covering all genres.
